A day after Saxo Bank announced it was increasing its funding of Alberto Contador’s Tour de France team, the  rider and his team leader Bjarne Riis were found cycling round the Surrey hills. Contador battling not just the hills but the rain to lead Saxo Bank’s private and institutional clients, and chief economist, around the Olympic route of Box Hill.
