Tech expert Stuart Miles has managed to get his hands on the new brand Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus - before they’re available in stores. He is impressed with the products but explains that foremost he thinks Apple is taking a slightly new direction when it comes to its business model, a move which should interest investors.

However, things are not looking as good for Sony, which has warned it now expects an annual net loss of USD 2.14 billion - that's nearly five times as big as initially predicted. It has also said it would not pay a dividend this year, for the first time since listing 1948.

And finally Microsoft has gone and bought Mojang, the maker of popular online game Minecraft, for USD 2.5 billion. The acquisition happens to be yet another Scandinavian company, so Stuart thinks he knows which company could be next on Microsoft's list.
