A report from HSBC's suggests the dollar will be the world's strongest currency both this year and next. Last week, USDJPY breached 110 for the first time in six years. On Friday, US dollar notched its twelfth straight week of gains, after data in the US showed unemployment fell to a six-year low of 5.9 percent.

But London-based trader Neil Staines explains that whilst he has been an advocate for the dollar for a long time, now the argument "is perhaps not as strong as it has been". He says that overall, support from the dollar has diminished. Here he explains why, and shares his views on which levels to watch out for in euro dollar and dollar yen.
