Peter Garnry, Head of Equity Strategy at Saxo Bank, brings us up to date with an overview of the current earnings season, pointing out that around 80% of firms have surprised to the up-side, 70% showing surprise up-sides in sales and underlying earnings growth is around 8% from the results so far. 
Peter picks out three firms which he thinks have shown the most promise for investors: Yahoo, EA and Nike.
