The unexpected big jump in Non Farm Payroll numbers only serves to underline the fact that the US appears to be the only economy working in the world. Japan's in recession and Europe suffers from persistent stagnation; the OECD's description, so 321,000 new jobs added in November suggests America is doing much better than we may have thought.
