Lambert: My Best & Worst Trade of 2014

There is a clear standout when it comes to the best trade of the year for Clive Lambert from FuturesTechs. After oil broke below USD 122.80 back in July he went bearish on the commodity. He has maintained his bearish sentiment since then as oil prices have continued to drop, falling more than 45% at the time of writing this article. He will continue to be bearish in 2015 on the commodity with targets in the USD 50 range. Clive’s worst trade of the year involved USDJPY, which he says went sideways for the first half of the year. Then when the US Dollar strengthened significantly in the second half of the year, Clive says he was overly cautious and placed his stops too tight because of USDJPY’s trading pattern in the first half of the year.
