Neighbour: My Outlook for 2015
467 views
The declines commodities, which have dominated the markets for the majority of 2014, are expected to come to an end during the New Year according to Joe Neighbour from Central Markets. Oil prices, which have fallen for the past 5 consecutive months, are believed to find a base along with the price of gold. Joe believes that base metals will provide investors with an opportunity for potential profit taking in 2015. However, volatility in the markets is believed to continue during the first half of the year.
Joe predicts that market volatility will extend beyond commodities and into the equity market until the European Central Bank issues a decision regarding quantitative easing. A QE package is believed to benefit the equities, particularly within the European banking and construction sectors. With volatility estimated to come to an end in the second-half of the New Year long-term investors could see an opportunity for potential.
