Two trillion dollars are invested in Exchange Traded Funds in the States so why is Europe lagging? BlackRock's Head of iShares in EMEA, Rachel Lord, tells us how ETFs could be the next big thing this side of the Atlantic.

 

In Europe, ETFs hold assets worth around $460 billion and the industry grew about 20% last year, according to Rachel Lord. She says investors are attracted to ETFs because they are a simple investment at low cost and easily bought or sold.
