Pope: Just where are the opportunities in GBP?

Where can you find the best opportunities in GBP? Ahead of the Bank of England's rates meeting on November 5th, Stephen Pope, Managing Partner at Spotlight Ideas, gives his trading thoughts.

The BoE isn't expected to change its monetary policy this month. However, Stephen can see a significant weakening in the euro over the coming weeks if the European Central Bank extends QE at the end of the year and sterling could be a big beneficiary. 

Stephen also has a warning for traders. He says it's very easy to become complacent when 'the only game in town' is to be long USD. He advises investors to be vigilant against making rash moves when opportunities can be limited.
