Kay Van-Petersen, global macro strategist at Saxo Capital Markets, gives us his view on big events this week in the markets.

Following Monday’s US and UK holidays, Van-Petersen says the trading week really gets going on Wednesday when the US manufacturing PMI figures are published. 

The European Central Bank will discuss interest rates on Thursday and Friday will see nonfarm payroll figures from  the US.
