Kay Van-Petersen, macro strategist at Saxo Capital Markets in APAC, outlines why September could be a terrific month for the US Federal Reserve to hike interest rates.

His reasons include a reduction of political risk with both the US election and the Italian constitutional vote later this year; greater potential for the Fed to streamline projected economic data; and to help out the Eurozone and Japan to weaken their currencies further.
