The precious metal has continued to weaken as USD strengthens, says Saxo Bank’s head of commodity strategy Ole Hansen, but what happens now?

The dollar is showing teeth against both the euro and yen, and Hansen says a test is necessary for the market. 

There has been a failure to reach new highs and the market has been stale since June, says Hansen, who also examines hedge funds and ETFs regarding gold.
