Back in December 2016, Saxo global macro strategist Kay Van-Petersen predicted that Bitcoin would test $2,000. The cryptocurrency hit that level in May this year - now he makes another prediction.

As part of Saxo Bank’s Outrageous Predictions annual series, Van-Petersen said ideal conditions were being created for Bitcoin’s rise, with volumes going up and volatility going down.

Now he explains why he thinks Bitcoin, which appreciated 50 times in 2013, could hit $100,000 within 10 years.
