In the lead up to the mid-term elections US secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner pushed his stance against the Chinese manipulation of the Yuan, sparking a tit for tat introduction of trade tariffs between the two countries.
Known as the China Bill, the US house of Representatives this week overwhelmingly voted it in favor. Implementing tariffs on many Chinese imports into the US.
